Pursuant to the Order of April 6, 2020, from the Supreme Court of Georgia, the statewide Judicial Emergency has been extended until May 13. As such, any court date you have scheduled before May 13, 2020, is likely to be rescheduled.

AJC: Fulton County jail will get working cell locks
After years of stalling, the Fulton County Commission voted just before the holidays to go $5 million in debt to replace more than 1,300 substandard locks at the Fulton County Jail.

This is, I think, another anecdotal example of what a disaster the Fulton County justice system has become. I completely understand that they are the biggest and busiest system in the entire state, but size and volume are not excuses for the type of disorganization I see when I go there.
